We love going on trips with friend, beach houses, fincas, weekend escapes. But when the booking happens, there’s always that small unspoken moment: Who gets the master bedroom?

We usually do. Not because we ask for it, but because it just makes sense. Three people. One room. One bathroom to share. A little more space helps.

At our last finca stay just outside Medellín, we lucked out. The master bedroom had huge windows overlooking green rolling mountains. Every morning, the light poured in, and it felt like the perfect calm after long nights of dancing and laughter.
